My family took a trip to visit my dad's hometown in Minnesota.  On one of the days someone found a local tourist shop that specialized in sasquatch memorabilia - which of course tickled the fancy of everyone there.  A short while later, we all became proud, card carrying members of the Sasquatch Association (we actually have cards).

This fondness of Big Foot continued, and finally culminated at the Sasquatch themed baby shower for my cousin's daughter.

I chose Yeti for my name as a hat tip to my families eccentric and childlike silliness.  May we never take ourselves so seriously that we don't find amusement from the Yeti.

Yetis have fascinated people around the world for generations.  Many consider them to be fabled creatures, and yet, they fill people with wonder and cause seemingly rational adults to buy membership cards to a sort of fanclub.
